took in its beak some soil for people, and this soil became the land.
Many tales and legends were composed about this mysterious bird.
Our Loon always chooses those who share the motto “Save and Preserve”,
it helps to rise high and acquires the confidence in ones strength.

«To Save and Preserve» - it is the brand of Ugra. We are pleased to know that our guests are interested in our unique location, its rapid social and economic growth, cultural and national traditions, and experience in solving environmental problems. We are proud that the environmental journalists all over the world know Khanty-Mansiysk, the capital of Western Siberia of Russia. Many of them not just heard of Khanty-Manisysk but they do know it very well as they have visited us before. Having experienced our friendly attitude and hospitality, our guests would like to come to our place again and again.

The idea of fighting for the environment by forces of cinema and television – is a special direction in the art that helps us to see the world in s different way and teaches us to maintain and create.
Over the years of its existence festival united 53 countries of near and far abroad.
The XXI International TV Ecological Festival “To Save and Preserve” – is a meetings; meetings with old friends, new meetings, new emotions and impressions! All our participants believe in their professions, and have solicitous attitude towards our Planet. Our festival is an absolutely unique event!

Festival’s program is full of business and cultural events.
For participants and guests are organized an open screening of films, master classes,
round-table discussions, TV and ecological projects,
meetings with famous producers.

Журналистов-экологов не очень любят, потому что экология – это то, что всегда вызывает отторжение, особенно у большого начальства. Так что главное в фестивале «Спасти и сохранить» - это то, что он как признание в любви к тем людям, которые работают в направлении экологической журналистики.
Сибирь для Европы – это, скорее, легенда, чем быль. Я хочу рассказать европейцам, что она действительно существует, что здесь есть прекрасные города, живут замечательные люди, есть хорошие отели, нетронутая природа.
Я люблю природу, люблю «пить природу» через стакан вина, люблю есть продукты, которые созданы природой. Я ненавижу систему быстрого питания, поэтому о себе думаю, что я - эколог.
В то время когда весь мир говорит о войне, когда проблем во всем мире хватает, быть здесь - это просто большая честь и счастье. Спасибо «России», что организовали такое мероприятие.
