1996 The State TV and Radio Company «Ugoria» and the Ecological Fund of KhantyMansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra holds the first ecological regional TV festival. The first contestants are journalists of cities and towns located in the basin of the rivers Ob and Irtysh.
1998 The festival transcends the boundaries of the District and becomes All-Russian.
2000 The festival receives the status of the International Forum.
2013 For the first time, the Children’s TV Creative Contest is held.
2014 The festival becomes the winner in the nomination «Mass Media and environmental protection» National Environmental Prize named after Vladimir Vernadsky.
2017 «The Golden Loon» monument was installed in the capital of Ugra.
2019 The Children’s TV Contest of the festival is nominated for the Vladimir Vernadsky Prize.
2020 Festival «To Save and Preserve» goes online. A mobile app has been created that allows you to become a member of the forum from anywhere in the world.
