As a rule, at the festival, in addition to film screenings, meetings with travelers and scientists, social activists and authorities are held. But today it is a businessman who came to a meeting with environmental journalists.
Marat Galiyev is the head of the first ecological industrial park “Yashel Park Siberia”, which started to work in Nizhnevartovsk in 2018. Internal and external cleaning of the oil pipe, processing and re-launching of the industry’s waste into production are topics of Ugra business that are supported at the highest state level.
Speaking about the development prospects of “Yashel Park Siberia”, Marat Galiyev said that by 2020 at least five modern high-tech industries specializing in processing of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), oil sludge, bitumen insulation, repair of machines and equipment will be located on its territory. The area of industrial infrastructure facilities that meet modern energy efficiency standards will be 64.5 thousand square meters, will create more than 330 jobs.
“Yashel Park Siberia” offers a real solution to the environmental problems that the oil industry has today, which indicates that the environment is becoming interesting for the business community, and the word “responsibility” in relation to nature is now in common use not only with environmental journalists and social activists.
